ABOUT US

Sheffield Building Services Training (SBST) are a long established company that can set up flexible training and assessment schedules using our training packages.

We have experienced and well qualified staff able to offer flexible training and assessment packages to suit individual or company needs, including full course in one block, weekends, or days over a period of time.

We are always open and welcome callers looking for advice or prices on our range of courses. We are a friendly centre and have a strict policy of four trainees to one staff. Our rates are very competitive and we endevour not to be beaten on price.

THE TEAM

Keiron Bentley

Keiron has been a successful plumber and heating engineer since his apprentiship in 1975. Keiron has worked as a college lecturer for over 20 years and has set up and run four gas assessment centres.

Richard Corton

With over 30 years experience, Richard provides expert training through SBST to a wide range of businesses and is a part time college lecturer. As well as providing training, Richard also runs a successful plumbing and heating business in Doncaster for domestic and commercial businesses.

what we do

We can offer flexible training and assessment packages to suit individual or company needs, including full course in one block, weekends, or days over a period of time. Your course work books are issued with your training and there are drinks and snacks provided. This centre operates under the CITB rules and training is not a requirement for assessment.

Ground Floor Facilities

A training area for basic gas and appliances inc boilers, cookers, warm air heaters, gas fires, water heaters and associated controls. Training and assessment rigs for Unvented Domestic Hot Water Systems. Training and assessment facilities for Flue gas ananlysis. A separate assessment area for all domestic gas assessments including LPG assessments.

FIRST FLOOR FACILITIES

A large open and comfortable area for lectures and a variety water and electric based courses, including Water Regulations ( a requirement for many plumbers ). Part P Electrical, ( a legal requirement for any fitters who alter or add circuits to Domestic kitchens, bathrooms or outside zones ) Training and assessment rigs for Part P, and essential Electric. Several combination boilers for hands on training. Canteen.
